Ilza Roggeband Ilza Roggeband was born in 1962 in Johannesburg and lived for almost twenty years in the Cape, the last few months in Melkbosstrand. She is mother to Zac. Ilza works at Huisgenoot and enjoys Zamar and Steve Hofmeyr’s 'Laaities en Ladies' as well as the occasional bottle of Kaapse Vonkel of Villiera Tradition. She’s a major fan of both McLaren, when it comes to sport, and the Afrikaans writer Dave Eggers, when it comes to writers. Top Gear is her favourite TV-show and she knows all the words to 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'Die Leeuloop'.
